I wonder how well it will be attended this year? I’ll be there for one day on the 2nd mostly to check out the travel section. Be interesting to see who survived…

Come see us at booth 912 for Cozumel deals with Blue Note Scuba Cozumel

Will do.

How strict /easy to access is DEMA?
I understand that they only allow dive professionals, so wondering if my DM card (even though I didn't pay the PADI fee this year) would be sufficient to get access. Worked a bit as a freelance DM for a while, but not since the pandemic and am not associated to any LDS currently.

Not sure what the current rules are as I'm not going this year; however, in years past my sustaining/expired/dusty NAUI Instructor card always worked. YMMV

I want to, but I have a sick, sick sister.

Go sign up at the DEMA website. You should have no problem. Being active is not a prerequisite requirement.

I will be there. Looking for travel opportunities and a chance to talk face to face with some of the companies I do business with.

LPA - You can attend as a DM. When you register sign up as an Influencer. You'll need to send them a copy of your card.

Can attendees bring a “plus one”? Spouse or friend?

Nope. Industry only.

Hint: Give them “credentials”. If you’re confused, PM me.
