I was checking this set-up out (just being nosey) and I lost the website. Now I can't find it. Anyone know where to go or who makes it ?

well, the site is in Italian, but i can't figure out if the manufacturer is
Italian as well

I don't understand how the straps would work crossed behind your neck, Wouldn't that be a "pinch" point?

The back plates and wings are made by a company called Aqua 3. Their website is still partially under construction.

The first time I tried a BP/W it had crossed shoulder straps. I can't really remember how the crossed straps felt compared to the standard routing because the whole rig was new to me.

First time I've seen that picture. Funny, funny funny. Good for a full belly laugh.

I use mine crossed on the back, to me it feels more stable and secure than when not crossed.

When not crossed, it feels like the shoulder straps are going to slip out, I doubt it will ever happens, it just feels like that.

I also use the shoulder pads for may harness, also my harness is a Deluxe type with the sternum rings and sternum strap and the QR on the left shoulder strap, so donning and doffing is very easy.

I may be inclined to think that for single piece harness crossing it may be causing more troubles than benefeits.
