Who wants to dive this weekend (4/2-4/3)?

Right now it looks like Jim and I will be meeting in Laguna Saturday morning at 7:30. Haven't decided on which site yet -- might do the egg hunt at Shaws or hit one of the other nearby spots. We'll be doing three dives. I'll post once a location is decided. Anyone is welcome to join.

No exact plans yet for Sunday, but I was thinking same time -- 7:30. So for those of you interested in Sunday, let me know what you prefer. Rouky, OCscuba?

Phil - had fun diving with you as well. Catalina is very tempting -- love diving the park. If for some reason plans for Laguna don't work out for Sunday, I may take you up on your offer.

Yeah, I'm all set to spend all day there on Saturday, maybe do an evening dive. And then I'm all for coming back Sunday around 7:30 am and do a couple. Gotta practice for my Bonaire trip in a couple of weeks

I'll try to get there around 7am to size things up at Shaw's and Crescent (conditions/crowd/parking).

Hey folks -- I've been wanting to check out the Laguna dive spots for a while, but haven't had the chance -- mostly because of the rain. But now that the weather has been holding up, it's time! I was thinking Shaw's or Crescent, but I'm open to anywhere else.

I'd like to dive both Saturday and Sunday. Anyone interested?

Assuming I don't have a relapse of the cold that I just got over, I'll be at Shaws both Saturday and Sunday mornings with a small group of friends.. Maybe we'll bump into you by the reefs :bfish:

Saturday morning is the baby's diving practice and I forgot that saturday evening I'm going to the U2 concert :dazzler1: but I am open for sunday.

7:30 sunday morning should be fine for me. Jim are you coming so I can bring a CD with the Kona pictures and manta ray/turtles video ??

I need also to think to get my tanks filled....

By the way, I marked up a map for anyone who hasn't been to Shaw's/Crescent before. I noted where the stairs are down to the beach, and put some arrows to show where the streets are one-way. I also added some X's to show where we normally park. Note there is an "X" on Crescent Bay Drive, near the park. This is a decent spot to park if the other Crescent Bay spot is full. There are some stairs I didn't show that connect Crescent Bay Dr. to Circle Way.

I also added a black dot ("LSS") where the dive shop, Laguna Sea Sports, is located. To find Husky Boy Burgers, just follow me.

Yep. She reall liked the swimming pool. She is learning to float on her back and the next step is to get her head underwater (she almost 5 months old)....
