As delicious as they are, I'm harvesting enough that they could meet 100% of my dietary needs and my neighbors are politely turning away fillets even.

Any leads on who might wants some of my catch? I know various restaurants will prepare a BYOF (bring your own fish) meal if someone brings one in.

I'm not wanting to interfere with the local fishermen by donating directly to the restaurants myself.

At worst, I could update this thread and someone is welcome to drop by to pick up some fish.

Where have you been finding so many?

Where have you been finding so many?

I'm drifting on the unpopular dive sites, between the "known" reef spots. Frequently between 70-260. A few times I've hunted deep as well in the 260-330ft range and I always see them deep when I'm not carrying a spear. Big ones down there. Highest concentration seems to be around 100-120 range. But could be because that's where I get longer bottom times and I'm actively harvesting.

It's highlighted how successful the hunters have been on the popular reefs, it's rare to see many there most days in recreational depths.

You know, I really am impressed with you and I don't even know you! If I were on the island, I'd chime in and say me please so I could take it to be cooked.... but, I'll add a +1 for you to locate the captain of Loan Shark who has 3 children to feed as a single dad. It's nice to hear of kindness........:)

That is a very generous offer. We will take some if extra still available after we arrive on 21st through about the 28th.

Will you be hunting them in June? I would love to get some filets when I visit - if Miguel doesn't want them.
