I'm looking for objective information for regulators. I just dropped off my current reg. for service(with the manual), but I seem to remember an EC marking? Any idea who that may be?

What are the European testing organizations?

Are their ANSI testing standards?

Does anyone know where I may find test results from these & other listing organizations?

Any other advice?

Thanks!

This is an article by Mike ward from the Kirby Morgan Dive Lab, breaks the testing procedures down very well...

C.E. is the European testing standard

The Navy Experimental Diving Unit does testing on many different brands but does not publish the test data, they include items on the Authorized for navy Use list if they meet the military standard for the component...

I know SCUBAPRO for one releases thier information, they are in fact quite proud of the test results for thier equipment (C.E. standards)
