Thanks for the feedback on the different temperatures and undergarments. It really hels, i appreciate it.

@Jax....I'm considering the Highland shorts, it looks like they might be the best option for a fusion drysuit.

Thanks,
Mitch

Well, I used X-shorts for four years with the Fusion. They work fine, and have big pockets. I may still use them in MX; I'm not sure yet. But shorts are one more thing to pack -- or forget; and you can even have them with you at the dive site and forget to put them on. It is a bit of a pain to pull them on over the suit, too . . . not a big one, but a small pain. I have to admit I am LOVING having the tech skin with the pockets, and not having to remember or deal with the shorts. The pockets aren't optimal, but they are usable.

I could see myself using the tech skin at home, where I don't put a lot in my pockets and don't access the stuff I have very often, and using the sport skin and shorts in MX, where I have tons of spools and markers in my pockets, and use them constantly.

Thanks again for all of the detailed replies, Internet drysuit shopping is a big task.

I've been wading through all of the threads and information out there. It's been very helpful to have the temperature information on undergarments, I'll probably go with the Mk3 that's packaged with the Fusion.

So far I'm thinking Tech skin with the replaceable neck seal and regular wrist seals. I'll also get some Viking rings, which would make this a "Lynne Signature Edition".:)

I'm trying to come up with a modification that will give some additional support for Halcyon pockets. I'm thinking about sewing a piece of 1" webbing (or heavy elastic) that runs inside of the skin from the armpit down to where the pocket attaches. This should enhance the support provided by the sticky material that already there to minimize sagging.

If that won't work, I'll go with X-shorts.

I don't know that I'd be that happy with the stock pockets.

The only negative: Those graphics on the sleeves of the tech skin are terrible. I guess I'll juts have to learn to live with it, but I really don't like them.

Thanks again for all of the great advice.

-Mitch
