I am interested in taking a tech class. I was going to go through the GUE fundamentals and then to tech 1. I was very impressed with their no casuality record. I also know that it is the instructor that makes the difference, not the angency. What would be the best to train with. Honestly all I want to do is dive.

I have the chance to get taught by a local instructor that I think is absolutly awesome. I had instruction from him before, and he really is top notch. He is a regional training director for 3 different agencies.

I know I am rambling, but should I go with him, or is GUE still that much better. Please help

There are many things to consider. The instructor is a big factor. But in the end it is you that is going to be doing the dive. Read all you can and go slow. Take little steps into deep diving not big ones. Learn your own body and how it reacts to depth SLOWLY. Pay close attention to what your body is telling you.

This is just my opinion but the Agency is not a big factor. The big factor is you. Your instructor is going to teach you and help you. Pick one you know and trust. If you are not comfortable with something do not hesitate to tell your instructor and ask plenty of questions.

Have a great time expanding your diving!
