I waited until I had pissed myself about 5 times before I did it.

Actually, I had more patience before I got tired of being "wet"—for several years, I tried different types of balancing valves on my first drysuit, besides the duckbill valve, and all of them leaked.
The "story" above was about my third drysuit, which I ordered with a non-balanced p-valve but ended up receiving with a balanced one instead))
