Which has a higher rate of failure a SPG or a transmitter?

my guess (and this is purely speculation) is that there might be a little more TLC to the big $$ investment system, and hence a lower failure rate.... I've watched folks bang the crap out of SPGs and not care. When they do it to their AI unit or hose unit - a much different reaction happens (and they likely won't do it again)....
