I would guess that they are not doing Kavieng because they have better diving down in Fathers/Witus and Kimbe Bay. Then the weather can be a problem that time of year up there as well. It is alos a lot harder to mix the dives up a lot through out the day due to the currents - Albatross Passage and Plant Rock two great dives can only be dived on an incoming tide and around full or new moon the currents are strong to say the least.
As to cabins with the exception of cabin 4 and 5 all can be made up into double/king size beds. All cabins on the main deck have large picture windows, the Master cabin does not it has 4 very small windows just above the water line. cabins 2 and 3 are very nice.
Was at Killibobs recently and Geroge is still there, what an awesome sight, and looks like he has some friends at Leslies and Normans with another 2 great barracudda being reguarly seen there.
They had a pod of Orcas there just recently and unfortunately I just missed it by a trip, the people taht cam off that trip had a great time.
