What a slug fest. What a game.

Cubs win.

Yankees get lit.

Puck dropped.

What a great sports Wednesday.

Do the cubs, the ultimate corked team, have it in them to take-it-all-the-way....?

Crimany, if they take it, will that lizard Dusty Baker be the biggest thing to hit Chicago since Abe Froman, Sausage King?

Didka who?

Phil who?

Michael who?

It'll be all about Dusty. That is freightening.

Rock on Cubby- Sox Series.

As a life-time Chicago area resident, I must say it is very surreal to see the Cubs in this position.

I remember the 84 season when we went up 2-0 on the Padres to lose that series. We have had a couple other playoff births, but that 84 team had a shot at it all.

Last night, I could feel the electricity in the air, just from watching at home. I hope for a Boston/Chicago series....those two teams haven't one it all in over 180 years combined.

Ah, I think back to my youth sitting in Wrigley Field watching the Cubbies of old play. Never thought I'd see this glorious time when they just might do it! Here's to Jack Brickhouse and Ernie Banks!!

Cubs win in 6...go to Boston and get fried. :upset: ;-0 :( Good Divin, George

The Cubbies ain't travelling any further than Broward County.

Go Marlins!

Marc

We will see won't we?
I have lived in Chicago for 44 years. Now that I move to Texas, they do something! OK better late then never.
I also remember the days of Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Joe, Pepetone, Billy Williams. Carlton Fisk, Kenny Holtzman ..
Should I contiue? You get the picture.
Go Cubbies!

LOL Forgive me Fergie!
12:35 AM EST Cubs just took the game! And what an ending it was!

:sunny:

:bounce: :drummer: WoW...and what anding it was ! George

I took a peak at the game in the 7th inning, and saw the Marlins take a 3-2 lead... didn't think the ChiC had it in them to come back and win it on the road.

Woke up this morning and heard the good news! Wow! And I missed it! Never again!

Boston vs Chicago... Fenway and Wrigley... how cool would that be?
