350'+ of visibility at Molokini, 7AM, February 17th, 2002. http://www.scubaboard.com/showpost.php?p=285435&postcount=28

The visibility at Molokini is routinely 100+', but this time details on sand below the backwall were visible from the surface, even in early morning light.

Back in April 2003 I posted that as my "best dive ever". Still true.
I haven't seen it that good on the backwall Charlie but I don't doubt you for a second. I've seen the bottom when below the surface and not that far below the surface, amazing place.

In the UK, 10-12m (30-36ft) at a site 19nm offshore.

Anywhere ive ever been, 40m (130ft) off Formentera, Ibiza

visibility near the fishing dock...approx. 250'.

Last July on U-352...100 foot visibility...could see the sub right when I got to the anchor line....

Unfortunately this is as "clear" as the "visibility" of this subject ever gets. Under any normal circumstances I'd say this is so generic as to state no opinion at all, but this is actually pretty well put.

Why would I have an opinion?

I dove in Belize, on the Elbow. We were in 85 - 115 ft water for 45 minutes and the dive boat was never out of sight. The vis was in excess of 200ft. I felt like I was diving in an aquarium, or floating in air, as the water was invisible it was so clear.
The guys that ice dive here on Lake Champlain tell me the vis is in excess of 100ft on sites where 25-30 ft is considered excellent in the summer.

Toss up between ginnie and devil's den. Last march ginnie was great but when we got to devil's it was utterly amazing! Then again I'm used to 15-20 being great vis. usual is 4-8ft. It'll be interesting to see what it is this weekend. Diving sun and mon (1st & 2nd) at our usual spot in Mt Storm in W.Va.

"The Ball" ... the big ledge off Juno Beach, FL. Top-bottom vis (90-100 ftsw) ... ~200ft vis horizontal. One of my most memorable drift dives to date. I decided on that day that this was a place that I wanted some of my ashes spread after I check out of this world. If GOD is a diver, then he was on this stretch of reef on that day.
