As part of a trip to Cozumel my girlfriend and I will be taking we are planning on spending a night in Tulum. Does anyone have any recomendations for a nice place to stay on the beach? I am looking for something relatively inexpensive, but since it is only one night of our trip I wouldn't mind spending a little more($100ish).
We will be visiting the ruins and will probably want to go downtown for dinner. A cabana on the beach looks nice but online it has been very difficult to tell the quality of some of them. I also am not sure if it would be better to stay closer to downtown, closer to the ruins or somewhere inbetween. Cabanas Copal looks very nice but it seem to be a bit far from everything. That might be a good thing but it wories me a little since we will be there for such a short period of time. I have also looked at Diamante K which looks like it is close to the ruins, but is it too close? I also have no idea on what there prices are.
