hello ScubaBoard,
I have decided that I want to dive with Aldora in Cozumel but I am undecided on where to stay. I need and would greatly appreciate hotel recommendations. I am traveling with non-divers, and if Aldora can pick me up right from my hotel that would be great.

Edit: must have dock pickups, be on the water, and under $4,000 USD. Currently leaning towards Grand Park Royal Cozumel.
THE VILLA CAN NOW ARRANGE FOR INTRO TO SCUBA FOR NON DIVERS WITH AN ALDORA INSTRUCTOR IN THE POOL…NO CHARGE. AND THE SNORKEL THERE IS THE BEST THERE IS!

I happen to love the Occidental and can't stand the Iberostar. The Occidental has a sand beach in the water, it's smaller, it's cheaper, and I love the food, layout, rooms, and staff. I it's my go-to. I dive with Dressel next door, but walk to it. The nicest hotel is the Intercontinental Presidente, but it's way too expensive (I stay on points!). The Westin is absolutely lovely, but near almost nothing.
Does anyone know if Is it still possible to walk along the beach down to Dressel from the Occidental in the morning? - thanks

I have only stayed at El Cantil with my family. 2 of us dive and 3 do not. We are all adults.

After hanging by their pool and watching the sunsets and boats go by, my family has declared they do not want to stay anywhere else.

So I second all that Trailboss has said above.

There are several 4 bedroom condos you could rent and be within your budget.
