I'll be turning 40 in November 2013. I wont to go on a dive trip, but I'm the only diver in our little family of 3. I'd like to go some place tropical and someplace the family can enjoy the beech or other activities while I'm diving. My daughter will be 5 and my wife will be, well never mind. Any way, I was hoping for some suggestions from others that may or may not have the same situation, of traveling with non-divers. I'm open to anything, but would like to avoid the big resort scene.
Any Ideas?

You might consider Old Providence Island. Hard to get to, safe, deserted beaches, and plenty to do if you like water, nature and culture.
