Macro in Sydney is amazing, common sea dragons almost guaranteed, lots of other stuff as well, including species like Bare Island anglerfish and Sydney pygmy pipehorses which are only found in southern Sydney area.
Now you got me interested on diving in SYD!

Thanks for the responses. Sydney looks pretty interesting, hadn't thought of that.

Motivated mostly by recent career stuff that facilitates Asia 1x per year or so, but only been to Oz/NZ 1x each, ever (this would be the third trip to that region). So I can go to Indo again or try Phils in the spring.
