Hi all.

I recently received my DAN O2 Certification and purchased a DAN 02 Kit.

The only part of the training that was lacking is in regards to where to get cylinders filled. Does anyone know where I can get a Jumbo D filled in LA?

I found one place in Burbank, but they require a prescription.

thanks

I have called several, and only one said they can do it. problem is, they can only fill it to 1000 psi, and it's a 3000 psi cylinder

SSA in Montclair

Aloha Divers in Woodland Hills (the old SSA store) probably still pumps eGrade

Ocean Adventures in Venice

There are a few.

IMO you're much better off with someone who banks EAN or deliveres EAN through stick or membrane so you don't have to sequester and sacrifice a tank to O2 clean for all of the PPB folks. I friggen hate that and eventually stopped diving Nitrox altogether because of the hassle.

Then I found a couple of shops near by (for me, Ocean Adventures) that bank what I need - so I can have my tanks filled anywhere (read: Avalon or our local dive boats) and still get my EAN when I want it.
