I use a local medical supply place...Very resonable for a 40 ft3 tank $7 or $8. Used a gas supply house earlier...they charged something ridiculous like $30

Well that was my first thought but, they said I need a Rx from my Doctor or I needed to be a Doctor.

Get the RX from the doctor.

I go to Brownings in Melbourne, and they told me all I need is an O/W c-card.

The first time I got it filled, they told me I needed a prescription, then I told them I was a DAN O2 instructor... they said "Oh, you're a SCUBA diver. OK"

The best place I've found to buy new is http://www.buyemp.com

I think I will use a O2 clean AL80 with a O2 clean reg, and fill it at the dive shop.

The dive shop could be worse than the medical supply house if you don't have the right c-card. They would try to sell you the course.

The Use an O2 clean tank and reg sounds good but you will very likely have a hard time keeping the reg in place if it is a true emergency. I am fairly certain if you dig around you will find a more reasonable medical supply store.

Or follow a ambulance to a hot call. They all run in the house.. although they tend to have those locking key code doors these days.

PackHorse- I LOVE that sig line. I intend to add that to my daily repertoir and plagerisms (ps i know i speel badly).

OMS do a demand reg with a strap on medical mask but I think it has a medical tank fitting. I dont think it would be too hard to adapt a diving O2 clean reg to a medical mask. Seems like a smart idea.

Eric: You can plagerize all you like. Im not smart enough to come up with that sig line myself. I saw it on a bumpersticker and thought it was well suited to diving.
