Hi i checked my LDS, leisurepro and diveinn, but no one stocks or has the MK25TA..they only carry the aluminum alloy (mk25UL) or the titanium ($$$$ mk25T)
My LDS says that they havent heard of it and i searched the net and saw its mostly coming up in asia pacific and europe.. anyone know where i can get one delivered here in the US? There has to be..its just a matter of finding it..
thanks!

here is a picture/info:

and

the 1st stage is bluish/purplish (not silver and not black)
i dont know if the 2nd stage is a regular s600 or an s600TA (if it exists) or an S600T

Looks like its a Mk25UL first stage and a S600T second stage. I don't beleive Scuba Pro still sells the ultra light first statges any more, atleast not int he US.

Speaking of which, anybody have the retail price on the MK20/25 conversion kit? This is a threaded insert which eliminates the shims, and permits fine adjustment of the regulator IP. Anybody have this and like it, or not?

I'm a SP reg tech and personally don't think the conversion is worth it. I recommend against it to all of our customers even tho we could sell a few I'm sure. The MK20 will give you all the performance you'll ever need.

I just got a MK25/S600 reg. The manual lists the features of the Mk25TA.

However....

Why waste your money? Titanium doesn't perform any better, it's just a bit lighter. That means more weight on your belt and do you really have so much gear to lug around that the 1-2 lbs difference is going to matter? The price difference is RIDICULOUS. It's like 2-3 times the price of a MK25/S600.
