I am on a project in Baltimore county Maryland and would like to make a few dives when I can. I would like to find a dive shop to go to and buddies to dive with. I was in california last month on a project but the schedule did not allow time to make any diving. This project will give sunday's off and should allow diving.

Buddy finder is in the upper right of the menu bar... and you might check the regional forum as well for regulars.

WELCOME ABOARD! 8^)

That opens up a few options.

1. Diver's Den does trips to Moorehead City NC where you will find world class wreck diving, warm cerulean blue water, lots of tropical fish and Sand Tiger Sharks. It doesn't get any better than a good day offshore of NC. On a bad day you bob around in 6 ft seas and throw up a lot. Bobby Cox captains the Diver Down and of the boats I have bene on in NC it is by far the best. Bobby finds good viz consistently and tends to do a better job than most of planning the wrecks with regard to wind and waves so the rides tend to be smoother.

2. Terri is planning some charters with Ted Green out of Ocean City. Ted can be a bit prickly and opinionated at times, but he runs a good boat and is another one of the few captains I actually trust.

3. Guppy gultch is in PA just north of the MD border about an hour from Baltimore. I've never been there but they tell me its nice. There is an MD group planning on going there the 18th and 19th.

4. Dutch Springs is a bit farther away at about 3 hours but it is nice as quarries go.

Thank you. I will check into those places and I will go by Divers Den to check it out.
