If I were you I might have posted the story, to keep people from diving with her...for their safety.
I think you did the right thing....warning potential buddies about her background should not make you feel guilty....she should feel guilty about putting unsuspecting people in danger herself. However, she doesn't sound like the kind of buddy that anyone would want to dive with (unless she does not disclose the fact that she doesn't actually stay with her buddies, in which case, you should probably warn about that fact as well!).
IMO you did the right thing. BTW loose her as a dive buddy.
