Dive number 56 & 57 will be ones to remember. Broughton Island - Looking Glass. Incredibly perfect seas - small NNE swell, anchored in smooth flat water on the SW side where the gutter opens up, almost no surge - very rare conditions. A bit crowded on the first dive but luckily my insta-buddy was very experienced and we had similar air consumption so on the second dive we jumped in early and had an absolutely unbelievable view of the sharks cruising up and down the gutter, we took our time and stayed well out of their way. Very much a challenger for best dive so far, giving Fish Rock Cave a run for its money. HD video to come a little later in the Australia section.

Molasses reef today 60-70 feet viz 1 and a half foot sea

The final one for 2008, giving me a total of 86 for the year. Not too bad... :)

The air temperature was -3C/27F making this the first OW dive where the temperature below the surface was higher than above.

Divequest @ Epcot Center - a little pricey but a very enjoyable dive. I could get used to wearing a 2.5mm shorty and diving in 77 dregree water with 200ft of vis.

A nice 1st dive for the New Year!

:blinking:My first dive of the year at our favorite local site

You could come to dive under ice in the Swiss Alps!
