Try PD's on West Bay Road not far from the Hyatt (runs parralel to Seven Mile Beach,) a very local bar.

You need to rephrase your question to ; "Where are the BEST drinks to be had?" Reason being is that, the cheapest drink is NOT always the best......The BEST drink, will.......regardless of price, its worth it.

A "cheap" drink will taste & have the effects of exactly that........cheap. A "Best" drink, will get you where you want to go via the short route which is ultimately = the cheapest drink!

Ditto the duty free idea. Booze is expensive in the Cayman Islands.

Often the bars at resorts will have higher prices than some of the other establishments. Ask your friendly dive shop staff where they drink and you'll get a pretty good list of the more affordable places.

Not the cheapest, but the most fun bar on the island is "My Bar" at Sunset House. Great dive crew hanging out there, too.

You could also try Fidel Murphys on West Bay Road, cheap pints and bevvy, also do a buffet all you can eat style on Sunday.
