I just don't log dives
I have seen some for $250 but cant remember where from.

Any ideas?

Its just for a cheap back up to use every now and then.

You could do sub-$250 at LeisurePro. All with mfr's warranty. And they ship internationally.

In another thread we were discussing the Cressi AC2/XS2 - currently on sale for $152. Same basic 1st stage design as the Scubapro Mk2 from what others posted. Cressi XS2/AC2 Piston Regulator HX780000

They also sell a Tusa or a Genesis SPG in a boot with hose for $65.
Or for $105 add a depth gauge with the Tusa 2 gauge console.

There's also an Oceanic SP5/GT3 for $179 on sale currently. Oceanic GT3 Sport (SP5) Piston Regulator, Black 40.3420.07

Piranha Dive Mfg. also sells their Synchro line starting around $125 and up. And lots of brass/glass SPG's for under $75. I'm not sure who services the Synchro line though and you'd also have to add a hose for the SPG.

I'd go to Dingo Town.

Long weekend in Australia and need them asap.

Thanks will check them out.

eBay works.

I don't know what Australia is like in terms of the second-hand market but I'm a big believer in buying used, and there's a great market through Kijiji (in Canada) and Craigslist (in the US). I picked up two sets of regulators off Craigslist a couple weeks back. One set has ended up needing some TLC before I'm ready to depend on them for a back up, but the other set is in perfect condition and my wife is diving that set. Each set cost about $175 USD.

+1 for Cressi AC2/XS2. It's what I used from the go. I still use the Cressi AC2 1st stage but after a lot of dives I went for a Hollis 500SE for the 2nd stage because of the side exhaust. The manuals for maintenance are on line and doing your own service is very easy.
