Where can I dive near Atlanta Georgia

I just moved to Cumming, Ga it is about 40 min out of Atlanta. Is there any clear diving spots near me?

Clear? You'll have to drive to the coast or find a spring.

The aquarium in Atlanta will let you dive there, but it's about $300 a tank.

Dive Haven is a nice place but the viz can be pretty rough unless you are deep. Less than 40' deep my brother and I could not make each other out over 10' apart. When I dropped down to 130'+ the viz was 25-30' but it was also low 40's temp and pitch black outside of your light cone

I Like lake Jocassee! Its about 1.5-2 hrs North in South Carolina! There is several charters up there or you can shore dive from the divers ramps! See the link below for pictures and info!

There is also Lake Lanier located in Cumming Georgia,Had about 15 ft visibility last Saturday while diving near Buford dam.
