I sat in my living room watching TV with my BP on and my dry gloves and practiced clipping and un-clipping my reg and SPG until it was second nature - and as silly as that sounds, it helped a lot.

I see new hog wearers struggling with the clipping in the water, some who are hesitant to check their SPG because of the struggle to re-clip it, primary regs dangling out of the water, loss of focus during air sharing drills due to intense focus on clipping of reg (recipient), etc.

It is exactly like tieing your shoes. The first few times you try it, it feels awkward and difficult and you need your mommy and daddy to help. But with practice, it's so easy you don't even think about it.

When I was a kid I became enamored with Bruce Lee and his abilities with these funny sticks with a chain between them. So I made some, only had to hit myself once to know that if I spin them fast and I dont have the move down at a slow spin chances are I will have that excruciating pain again. I bring this mentality to this table also, so as I read your post I think I can keep my curtains open when I'm standing in my frontroom wearing my drysuit gear and practicing blind removal because I'm bored. Please keep your experiences alive, it's good for us.
