I hope the conditions will be better than last year!

Thanks Bill!

Just heard back from the Kathy at the Conservancy, it's the 21st of February .

That makes sense -- it wouldn't be the Presidents' Holiday long weekend, and it also wouldn't be the weekend around Valentine's Day. I see that both of those fall together in 2009.

I am planning on helping out at the two harbors cleanup this year. it is October 18th. Cleaning, fun, and you don't even have to pay that ridiculous fee that they charge over in Avalon to pick up trash. I don't get that business? Picking up trash is free any other day of the year!

Ha! I couldn't dive it last year due to a cold, but from all the reports I heard it certainly couldn't be any worse! One dive buddy said she couldn't even read her gauges. It is a bit silty in the Bay, but generally I've had enough visibility when I dive it.

We were out of town as well but given the conditions, we did not miss much.
I am planing on going this year and hope we have a 1000 divers! That would set a new world record if the Gilboa event does not go that high! !!!!!!! World Record Attempt !!!!!!!!
