Oceanic is my back-up DC, it is cheaper than Suunto and just as reliable. My main DC is a Uwatec air integrated Smart Z. My only complain of the Smart Z is that it is a darn noisy DC, which is quite irritating to other divers. My Oceanic Geo is good as a back-up, reliable, although there was one dive in which it suddenly switched onto Gauge mode. Could this be a software glitch? My retailer says no, but has anyone else encounted this Gauge mode switch also?

The 3 choices are all essentially the same. They are all Pelagic computers.

I have several oceanic computers and two Suunto computers. The Suunto is, as we all know, more conservative - which is not necessarily a bad thing, but can limit dive time.
My favorite console is my Oceanic ProPlus2 which has a nice big display making it easy to read at a glance.
I now have the Oceanic Datamask and have so far only used it in the pool so time will tell how I like that one..

I have an Oceanic VT3 and wouldn't trade it for anything else I've seen to date.

I'm not looking for a computer to wear as a watch. My computer is for diving. I have a watch that is rated to 200m and the deepest it dives is freediving depths. It's really just to tell time while swimming. For a primary computer I want a good visable display. Maybe one day I'll get a backup computer in case the primary fails while diving it wouldn't ruin my day. It would be in a pocket in my rig as a secondary monitor until needed and then I'd still need a decent display. I just don't understand why anyone would want tiny dive computers.
