I have the ability to burn or overcook everything I touch. I use to be an alright cook but now there isn't a chance in you know where that I could prepare anything. Guess that's what happens when you work all the time.

Thank goodness for a very talented SO.

I can bend my fingers perpendicular to the back of my hand, at a 90 degree angle. In fact, I can bend my index finger backwards and (nearly) touch the back of my hand. I have found no use for this trick as of yet!

I can also sit on the floor with my knees bent, legs behind me, and then lay (lie?) down. I am not sure if this qualifies as a talent, but I did take a yoga class once and I was the only one that could do that particular stretch easily.

None of these things qualify as "special" I guess, but I felt the need to contribute!

I can relate very well to horses. I used to work with racehorses and I always seemed to get the ones that needed extra love and attention. Usually they had been mistreated, or did not have any self confidence. I could get them to win races.

Another talent I have is that I can get just about any weed to grow while fertalizing the plants. They die!

I could mention more, but would probably be detramental to myself!

I can make things happen ..by saying it them out loud, before they do happen.
I have lots of examples but here is the most recent.
Example #1:
Friday, I went to the Cubs/ Astros Baseball game in Houston.
The Cubs pitcher came up to bat.
With all Astros fans sitting around me, I said out loud ..
"The Cubs pitcher is going to hit a home run."
And he did.
Cubs won!

Sure ..let's go.

My mother lives in San Diego and bother lives in L.A.

I'll go.... as long as they aren't playing the Cubs, that is. ;)

Yes, we lost 2 of our Dodgers to the Cubbies this year. My daughter is still in mourning for Mark Grudzielanek ("have you SEEN how blue his eyes are, mom?") and he seems to be doing better there than he did with us last year!! I think they play in the end of August sometime - we have to go just to see him back in LA!

I am very good a discovering plot flaws in movies and am even better at pointing them out to my wife during the movie. Her hidden talent is punching me in the shoulder with her bony little knuckles in a way that really hurts.

And tonight my son made it obvious that he has the same talent. I am SO proud. :)

Natasha, please predict that I'm going to win the lottery this week!!

please, please, please!!

I play the cello. Tried to teach others. Failed miserably.
