Let's all get to know each other better.

What hidden talents do you have? Maybe it is something you are very proud of. Maybe it is something only you or very few can do. Maybe it is a physical feat. Maybe it is a unique accomplishment. Or maybe it is just something fun and silly.

What can you do or have done that makes you different?

Keep it clean people. I already get in trouble for making threads inappropriate.

An, example of a silly special skill...
When I was a child my brother demonstrated that he could make is tongue roll up on the sides leaving only a hole in the middle. After polling the whole family, we found that everyone in the family could do this but me. He was then so impressed with his skill and that he and only few others could do this. He rubbed it in all the time. LOL

Some people run marathons, others are mathematicians, some can win at limbo on roller-skates, some win competitions that are limited to annual events. What makes you unique? Care to share? R

I like this one :)

I've never been a big fruit eater.

My mother used to slice me different apples making them look like they were from a single fruit, she never ever managed to get away with it!

I can still distinguish a Chiquita banana from any other brand.

On a more serious side, I am very proud with my easiness in learning foreign languages, I'm up to 7.

WOW That's cool. R

Being able to mess up a perfectly easy shore entry or exit. :shaking: I don't know what it is, but at least I do provide much entertainment for those around me! :)

Me too!

My favourite is trying to get fins off ;)

I'd better start training, I now have students and that's not really a good role model, is it? :out:

I keep being told I'm a good mimic. so my hidden talent I suppose is a laughing at people behind their backs :) I can't help it, if I'm having a chat with someone and we start talking about someone else, I just take them off . .. and I've been told i do it perfectly :-) No badness meant but it's probably only a matter of them before I offend someone!
I've been making a conscious effort recently to imitate people on TV and politicans etc, with amazing results :mean:

I have enough problems in my native English! I have mastered the ability to get a beer, food, lodgings & a bathroom in about 4-5 languages.

Seriously though - I have a great sense of direction. Rarely get lost, able to retrace routes effortlessly, eyes absorb the smallest details traveling. Works equally well on land or on water. Always ready to take the road less traveled.

Oh yeah - I can roll my tongue & touch my nose with my tongue too!

A great sense of direction, I knew you had to be a girl. LOL

WELL, UH, I can touch my nose but the rolling thing, I can't. But I can tie cherry stems in a knot with my tongue. Does that count for anything? ;) R

I can drink a bottle of beer off my forehead. I get a different reaction from my wife than my old college friends.

I'm so mutli-talented it is hard to choose. This morning I tied both of my shoes with one bend over.

But my claim to fame is being a left over chief. One time I was given 5 lbs of leftover cole slaw after a Rotary meeting.

My kids hated cabbage so they wouldn't eat it. So I made a nice pork soup with the cole slaw mixed in. They still wouldn't eat it . So the next day I ground up the pork, and eveything in the pot. Mixed it with mayo and made sandwiches with the concocion.

"Come on kids, Dad, made "chicken" salad sandwiches." They loved it and ate them all up.

I can make a meal out of wallpaper. "Eat it up kids or you'll get it in your eggs on Sunday morning."
