I am going to it with my dad next week, but I forgot the name :06: It is the one that was purposely sunk and i thus well intact for scuba divers. It is an easy dive in only 35-50 feet of water I believe. I figure I should start out easy with wreck dives ;) I want to look around for info and pics about it. Thanks for the help!

You could be talking about the INDRA, which is typically visited by boats out of the Morehead City / Beaufort / Atlantic Beach area.

There are a bunch of others too, so we'll need some more info to help.

I can't be the INDRA, because it rest in just about 70 ft of water vice 30-40 feet he asked about. It could be the Liberity ship just of the coast about 2-3 miles off of Atlantic Beach area.

your Probably talking about the SPAR which was recently sunk and even most beginners can handle it no problem.

I know where the Indra is, but most newer divers are taken to the Indra instead of the Parker (Liberty Ship) due to vis. I figured the depth he cited could be the top of the superstructure.

spar only that deep to the sand majority of the ship is 50 -60 feet with very little sand sediments ect to kick up , well was till maybe this storm pass's LOL

I remember many storms ago when the Aeolus was one piece.

There is a tug that was suck about 2 weeks ago., about 35' to the deck, 55-60' to the sand. According to Olympus - we were the first group to visit it last week - when we did our dive the marine fishries group was doing some additional work on the wreck. Alex - or something really did a number with stack portion kinda buckeling it in. I think it was called the Triton - or Titan....
