I was on Jill Heinerth's blog the other and noticed that she had a small pouch that contained tools that she placed in her pocket. Kinda think that is a neat idea. I guess you could bungee that in and pull it out right in front of you to see what you need. Each tool could also be bungied in the pouch.

Gid Liew keeps a small assortment of zip-ties and o-rings in the back sleeve of his wetnotes book for mid-dive fixes of bolt snaps that had to be cut and similar situations. Can't say I've ever thought about bringing tools underwater with me. Given the way I treat my gear, they would be unusable by the time I ever needed them
