They're punched in the threads on the "inside" of the handle - it "buggers up" the thread so it can't unscrew.

heh, it's called "self locking", but "buggers up" works, I suppose.

Back on topic -

Right pocket: emergency gear such as spare air, extra wireless transmitters, snorkel and capital one credit card. I put those in the right because it's easy to reach.
Left pocket: empty in case I find anything cool.

It's easy to remember this way: "right reach, left left-empty"

Well uhm, where do you put your PADI wheel? Do you clip it with a retractor next to your octo so you can check your NDL on the fly?

I keep the latest issue of sDIVER (see below) in my left pocket so I can read it in case I get bored waiting to oxtox/go OOG

I keep my (autographed) issue of smugdiver in a food tube so it doesn't get wet
