Is cheese even ok?

Depends on how far he is taking it. You can get soy cheese though and then it is fine for all.

How long you think he'll keep this silliness up? :)

WW

Guys, this is a pretty serious tangent. :)

As for how long? I don't know. :(

Pale and skinny... I want buff and tanned. :(

Big T, Do I have to eat that with him? Can I open with some seafood bisque and have a porter house steak while he chows down on that pea soup and egg roll?

Can I top the french toast with pureed rasphberrys? or burbon soaked peaches? or no?

Thanks for the help. Really. R

look at all the delicious food they miss out on...I guess you could just coat the toast with an egg substitute, but who doesn't eat french toast?

OK I'll suffer then.:)

But you know, stir fry ain't bad.

Any other suggestions?

There are "gel" desserts that contain no gelatine. Chinese, Japanese and Indian grocery stores (the big ones) often carry a carageenan-based dessert (seaweed, same stuff used to thicken some ice-cream). You can aslo get sheets of just the carageenan and use it to thicken fruit juice. Fruit sorbets are good - just fruit, water and a bit of sugar (thickened up with pectin sometimes). Watch out for gelatine - it's in a lot of things. Including most dietary supplements and toothpaste and...

Vegan dining - if I had to do it, I'd be thinking Indian. Add enough chili, ginger and other spices and even lentils taste good (serve w/ rice for a larger bite of complete protein). Sweet potato makes a pretty good staple ingredient, too.

Umm, is this vegetarian or does it have to be healthy vegetarian too? Palm and coconut oils are pretty much all saturated fat too, y'know. Then there's the side-effects as the digestive system adapts to the sudden influx of legume-based food :warhammer:

If he's going ovo-lacto it's easy to find things for supper.

Thanks so much you guys these ideas are helping. R
