Looking to buy, Im out there usually 2 times a year. I'm just looking to add to my collection hp or lp.From the sizes you mention, it sounds like you are looking for LP vs HP? Renting or buying? Good local info (dive sites, field ID, etc.) is divebums dot com. Marissa Charters and Waterhorse are the local charters. We have wrecks, rocky reefs, kelp forests, nudibranchs, eels, giant sea bass and more. For shore diving, La Jolla is best (details on dive sites on the divebums pages). Recommend full body 7mm or drysuit.

A LDS has some used tanks in different sizes sitting in the corner of the store, I think I saw a sign for $120 one one of them the other day - I'll be back there this Wednesday and check it out since I'm in the market for a tank too.
Send me a message if you want to meet up for a La Jolla shore dive, I'm free just about always.
My sentiments exactly, I never contacted him because of that - it's like that was his weekend "party" money he is selling the tanks for. I ended up buying a new Steel HP120 with a 10% discount, no sales tax and free shipping. Good used CL tanks go in 24 hours it seems.I feel like that weird dudes CL prices are never that good and his ads have a weird vibe. Put me off of dealing with him. But i will give him credit, he is really good at spamming CL!
I just got back in SD, basically arrived last week and immediately went to Ensenada and then San Qintin, conditions don't look the best,There is a guy on CL who sells tanks and has a weird name, Henry the seal?
