My last post i asked what make a good dive boat? Thanks for all the replies they where great. Now what is a fair price to pay for a good dive boat chater? Give me your thoughts.

I don't know your background, pardon me, but a great way to really understand the question of what makes a good dive boat and the market is to experience LOB as a diver on various boats. Of course that won't tell you about the financial calculations and economics, but more like equip oneself with a better judgement when doing the analysis and planning

In California the average price for a 3 dive trip is about $100. Ive been to places in Honduras where a 2 tank is about $75.

Depends on the site. Anything from £18-£60+

so many variables..what location are you referring too?
Price of fuel, pay to crew/captain,distance traveled, all have to be taken into account.
Here in the New York area cost can run $75.-$150. for some sites.More if further offshore.
A charter boat in LI Sound gets $360. for the boat and takes 6 passengers to a site no more than 15 minutes away, and includes NOTHING.
. A 2 tank boat trip including tanks/weights on Bonaire is less than $30.
Some operators on Cozumel charge $60.-$65 for a 2 tank trip,tanks/eights included and if you go out with them for a 2nd trip in the afternoon they charge you only $25.

It is typically $80 for a 2 tank dive on the St. Lawrence River in the Brockville-Kingston corridor. Weeknight single tank dives can be found in the $20-$35 range though club membership is usually required, but not mandatory.
