In California, If the dealership did not include a contract is subject to financing clause, then the dealership would be required to honor the sales contract. However, 99% of California dealerships contracts have this clause - and - get guaranteed financing secured before rolling the car.
That's the beauty part of the battery acid. It takes sometime and use for the acid to work its magic,and it doesn't happen all at once. In addition they'd have to do some CSI type work to figure it out.
