Storm Whistle 'WIndstorm" zip tied to corrugated hose and also on each of my PFDs for kayaking and sailing.
What whistle to buy for diving? storm whistle ? fox 40?

I've had the Storm Whistle hanging on my BC for 14 years and 700+ dives. Can't even remember what it sounds like. If I really think current could pull be far afield I attach the Dive Alert. Should have bought the one that also works uw, but didn't know it existed at the time. Of course that wouldn't help you uw anyway if diving solo.
I have a Fox 40 zip tied to my octopus regulator. Loud enough to attract attention from anyone on shore but fortunately I've never had to use it.
