gecko3s:Back up lights are generally a 1/2" bolt snap. At least that's according to Dress for success
Dan Gibson:My GUE cave instructor recommnded the smallest size which I believe is the 3/8" version.
Dan Gibson:My GUE cave instructor recommnded the smallest size which I believe is the 3/8" version. Too big can be a PITA.
RTodd:And I will give it too. How often do you guys actually deploy your backup lights? Since they are almost never used, you want the clips small and out of the way. The light is turned on while it is still on the harness. Therefore, if it takes a little while to get it off because you have gloves, etc., you have light so the extra time is no big deal. Also, smaller clips hold the lights up closer to the D-rings, interfere lesss with other clips on the D-rings, are less likely to have other clips accidently hooked to them instead of the D-ring, etc., etc., etc.
