what size boltsnap for backuplights?

He mentioned that these were for backup lights... at least that's how I took it.
 
I use the 1/2 inch on mine. Had extra thick lining in my blue-smurf gloves on Saturday (43F temp water) and had to hand it off during the dive. No problem unclipping.

no gloves most of the time. warm water diving. boltsnaps will be used for my two backuplights hooked to chest drings
