i assume that you will take them in to be serviced. that said does your lds service any reg? most will. what diving will you do? cold water warm water? at the end of the day you wont notice much diffrence between any of the major makes as far as breathing goes if they are tuned right. there are some nice scubapro regs but there are others out there with just as good of performance. computer is a whole diffrent thing, as to what you want

Can't go wrong with ScubaPro. I am also a big believer in Apeks!!!

MK25/S600 or A700
MK17/G250 for extreme cold
DS4, DST, Tek3 and xtx seconds

I have a sherwood Oasis. Its a great entry level regulator.
No jaw fatigue or blocked vision from bubbles.

I am also looking for an additional reg so I can have a pony setup. Sherwood SR-1 is looking interesting, but I have had instructors also recommend an aqualung Legend LX (which is also quite expensive).

Hi,,,

on buying a reg i believe and have told many divers in my shop,,,

take a check on what your shop rents out,,,as they would not being repairing them everyday after a rental on the outside,,this reg would have to be a tough one and ready to go the next day and many more after that,,,

so that is my thought on buying a good reg,,,so check out your shop and see what they are renting,,,

have a good day diving,,,,,,,,

the wetter the better!

Consider acquisition, as if finding a girl, then learn cautiously your equipment, to tweak and to care and to respect.

It is an entirely parallel concept.

It is about playing the heart with the strings of the harp..:marriage:
