What magazines do you read / recommend?

I read Sport Diver, Rodales and in the past I had subscription to Asian Diver. Asian Diver I thought was a great magazine but their subscription department sucked. I informed them that I can receive mail only through the postal service but they kept on sending it through private shipping companies. It took several months and several lost issues befoe they got it right.

I really enjoy reading Rodales Scuba Diving...I will read it from front to back and over again!

I usually pick up an Immersed when I see it, though its more techie stuff. Everything else I get on the web. Paper mags are so 90's.

Nice thing about those ads on gear and where to dive is that they help keep you informed of what's being offered, otherwise you will have to rely on your LDS or small circle of dive freinds. You can always research the web pages after being introduced to the product in the magazine. If interested in something or someplace, you can come back to this site and ask the targeted questions of the members for their opinions. It's also nice to browes.

is one of the better mags, wrongdales, or scuba diving, as it is now called is nothing but front to back advertising. The problem with almost ALL of the diving magazines is that they only cover one or two dive sites in the US, but normally 20 to 30 out of states dive sites. Granted I like to dive outof the states too, I only do this once a year most of the time, my other 30 to 45 dives a year are right here in the good ole US of A!!:iwagima: atriot:
I would dive more all over the world if my bank account had about another 5 or 6 0's in it though!!!!

Just picked up my 1st copy of DT thanks to the thread. I'm subscribing. How'd they do that cover? To think of all the $ I've spent on the other 2.

crazed dolphin - i second all you said about AD .. its a super magazine and getting better with each issue, with just enough ads to keep me wishing i had more vacation.. but unfortunately being based on Singapore, distribution to the US is sketchy at best. i wish they would expand into the US market.

re magazines being so 90's - another poster's opinion - generally true but not with AD. each and every issue is a keeper - at least for me
