Have been very happy with analox. I also built a little kit in a pelican case with cut foam, taped a depth chart on the top, along with the temperature calibration table. Very handy.

Odd, I've never once been asked to report starting pressure. One place in Maldives liked ending pressure to go on their list though.

I can visualize why someone would need the starting pressure of a tank, primarily knowing that they are getting a full tank as promised. I can also see (but never have actually seen) the shop looking at starting pressure for the shop's internal quality control process. Ending pressure can be useful to the shop. Most shops want their tanks to have at least 500 psi at the end of a tank. If a tank has less than 300 psi I would want to do a visual inspection on the tank looking for possible water inside (thus possible corrosion).

Maximum Operating Depth Chart (MOD) would be very useful in a Pelican Box with the analyzer.

Not trying to high jack this thread, but when filling out the label at the dive shop, assuming 32% which MOD do you use PO2 1.4 or 1.6? I've been reading different messages and most say they use PO2 of 1.4 where my instructor said to use 1.6.

I was trained to use 1.4 and always do!

1.6 is typically used for deco gas when one is not active, 1.4 is the industry standard, 1.2 is often used to limit O2 exposure especially by technical divers.
