It's not so much my job that supports my habit but the fact that I don't spend money on anything else. I drink rarely, don't go to movies, don't eat fast food, don't shop for clothes, don't buy magazines or any of those other little things that add up. Mostly those things I don't do are because of where I live - those options simply aren't here! It's great enforced savings :)

Mike Veitch:

Alcina, same here. No Nordstrom's, no financial problems....

PE Teacher, grades 1-5. Couldn't even afford a house in the SF Bay area on my own. Fortunately, my wife makes twice as much in her insurance account manager job and is the big diving instigator, i.e. I have to slow HER down not vice versa.

Part-time photojournalist, formerly full-time.

All the best, James

Structure Engineer for the airlines. Allows a few good toys and the occasional opportunity to try them out in far away places

Medicine(Wife) and an excellent investment strategy...:D

I just take out loans for everything......Ha. I pay off the loans with money that I "earn" in the Navy.

Project Manager for large Information Technology shop which pays well for this area. My husband and I are DINKS which also helps a lot! No kids to pay for! Just a lot of neices and nephews to bribe :)
