This weekend we did a few recreational cave dives for fun.
nowhere near as gear intensive as usual.

I have one bedroom to sleep in, two to store gear, and a bathroom for wet stuff, in addition to the barn I rent from an area farmer for excess bottle and exposure suit storage.

The only reason why you would wear a full face mask is if you are breathing O2 mixes and you are diving near your max ppO levels, or if you want to talk underwater.

One problem with FFM is the large volume in the mask may enable carbon dioxide to buildt up which is not good and can cause problems.

As usual, you make some good points.

But on the other hand, you know us guys (and some gals as well, although it is mostly a guy thing), just loving gadgets.

At the same time, some of the members her are doing some pretty demanding stuff, like cold water diving and all sorts of tech diving.

The bottom line is probably that your gear should fit your diving style and make your dives safer and more fun.
