Get them all! You can get SCUBA diving magazine subscriptions for 3 years for a dollar on ebay. Thats how i got mine and definitly not disapointed for the first year.

You know, I've had an opportunity to look at the magazine NAUI puts out for their instructors, and that's a darned good magazine, too. Unfortunately, it's not generally available.

With so much info on the net, we read only Alert Diver on paper anymore
I of course read SHARK DIVER MAGAZINE Sharks - Shark Diving - Shark Diver Magazine - everything you want to learn about sharks - great white sharks - tiger sharks - whale sharks - bull sharks - pictures of sharks .
But I always pick up any of the free ones at my LDS. ALERT DIVER is a good one to keep me updated.

I like Alert Diver myself because it's obviously focused on the medical & physiological aspect of diving so it has plenty of great info & articles on how to take care of yourself, avoid injury, how to dive safer, etc.
Although Sport Diver & SCUBA Diving are great too for info on travel destinations!
