LP 72s are my favorite tanks to dive with. I'd pay $50 for it if I could look inside and see that there is no rust problem. If it's clean inside and tested correctly (it should be pressurized to 90% of test pressure then released, then re-pressurized to test pressure) I would almost guarantee that it will pass. These tanks are over-engineered for their service pressure. One local hydro guy told me he hasn't failed one in about 20 years.
Between buying, testing, tumbling, and re-finishing with cold galvanizing, I have almost $100 each in my LP72s and I still think they were great deals.
