Hey SB'ers,

It's getting to that time of year when credit card purchases skyrocket and the cash registers ring merrily..
So I thought it would be interesting to see what dive related purchases you guys will be making during the holidays?

Pics and flowery descriptions of your purchases are highly recommended:D.
Come on, let's get some gear envy going here!!

Let me start it off,
  • Regular(Mares kit, 1st & 2nd stage, octo, guages)
  • + many other assorted dive paraphernalia
  • Maybe a new camera + housing too :05:

This year I am going to bite the bullet and ask my kids, mom, sis, etc. to chip in and pay for my next certification. Everyone else always gives me a list of what they would like - so this year - I am going to do the same. Hmm…will be nice not to get something I really would love.

Hey mods shouldn’t we have a holiday smiley or two?!!J
:D

Well... I wanna new camera...may end up buying it with "secret mad money" (shhhh!)

Now...here's the rub...if Penn State goes to the Orange Bowl...we're going, and spending some time in the Keys (which means I get to do a little diving)..but if they go to the Fiesta Bowl...probably no diving...but that's what the wife and I are giving each other for Christmas....(I still want the dang camera!)

Santa just brought me a new 7 mm Wetsuit. Its an XCEL Infinity. Its Black with Blue panels, beautifully stitched and sealed seams, ankle zippers with well sealed dams, fits and stretches like a birthday suit. I'm diving Anacapa Island this weekend to try it out! Thanks Santa!
Happy Holidays to you all. Have a safe Holiday Season.

A certification or gift certificate towards a certification is a great idea. With a wide variety of specialty courses available, these would also make great gifts. One family member could get you the course itself, another the course material and another any equipment you may need for the course. Enjoy.

Cheers,
Mike

When I catch that jolly old elf in my santa trap I'll make him pull all kinds of goodies out of his bag :D

But really... I'm trading my drysuit for a smaller version, and buying a new BC (Zeagle Ranger... I hope)

santa will hopefully be brining my preferred dive buddy from canada to new zealand.....

failing that, i'm going to buy myself a transpac 2 and a new set of apeks regs. well, i might just buy them anyway...... ;)

Then I can get my AOW and steer clear of more perfume, more candles, my of this or that. Shoot one year I got a gift from my ex-husband and the kids - the next year they gave me THE SAME THING, lol! It would be funnier, if they would quit forgetting my birthday - which is on Halloween - hello! Gotta love em though or do I :D
