we just got back from coz on monday, weather was great, dove with dive palancar from the sabor..
planning to go back in March, i have never been at that time of year...
what is the likelyhood of strong winds that could close park at that time of year :dontknow:

I was there for 13 days last March. The winds blew us out for just a few hours on the last day. Other than that the weather was nice, but just a little cool at night.

I've been there two years in a row in March and the harbor never closed. We had wind but not enough for the harbor master to worry about.

Hey dougr52:

What were the water temps on your recent trip to Coz? I'm leaving a week from tomorrow and need to figure out if my 3mm will be warm enough. Thanks!

it was 81 degrees every where, i checked my computer about 3 times on every dive and made 8 dives... 3mm will be fine i wore a 2/3mm, i was very comffy and i am very cold sensative...that was a 2/3mm full suit....

current was very strong, we dove del cedral wall on friday, on sunday i ask to go to santa rosa wall { my favorite spot } , the dm said NO, current was too strong...

Thanks for the info, dougr52. I'm cold sensitive, too, so I'll bring my 3mm full suit and my vest. Looks like the water is warmer than the air...at least from the weather reports I've been looking at.

i found weather forecast on weather.com to be very inaccurate. forecast high 77/78 degrees but it was 84/86 !! if you were in the sun it would burn in a minute, and i am dark complected...

I'm glad you pointed out the inaccuracy of weather.com. I've been checking it every day and it says next week there'll be 60% chance of rain and the high of 76 degrees! I like 84/86 much better!

I needed my 7mm for March.

The other part they don't tell you is at the end of March / beginning of April is spring break for a lot of places. Mid-March, the U of TX was on spring break.

:ssst: Eye Candy. :giggle:
