I would certainly have it inspected by a qualified dealer.

I would also consider investing in cylinders of your own or finding a different rental outfit.

It is a rental tank...!! this was my couple of my dives with my Zeagle reg :(....should I have the reg serviced? it is brand new...maybe the corrosion got in my reg!!

Definitely yes.At the very least have a qualified Zeagle tech (dive shop etc) take it apart and give it a thourough once over.Make sure you tell him that it was exposed to the aluminum oxide from the rental. And also if you have not already done so, make sure that the shop that rented you the tank knows.Personally you should be able to work a deal with the dive shop over the inspection/repair or what ever else comes up.If it is the same shop you rented the tank from, I would find someone else to inspect and repair your reg yesterday.
Dont chance another dive with it.Let them look at everything that the air from the tank touched. You never know what the Alox got in to.
And this would be the primary reason that I have acquired all of my own gear including tanks. This way I never have to worry about the quality of a rental piece of equipment.
